Your thoughts on Windows Vista?

Its been a while now since Vista has been released? Personally i haven't bothered upgrading yet.

I have been hearing conflicting emotions on vista. Is it a pain to get used to? Is it a good and stable operating system ? I heard that it even does you the favor of deleting your "illegal" video files? Is all of this true?

What are your thoughts on vista? Should i upgrade ?

Stationripper is a great way to get Mp3's. Instead of you searching for mp3's they just come to you!! Once you install Stationripper you'll be presented with a list of radio stations. You can then select a radio station that plays your genre of music. From there on its easy sailing and the mp3's will be individually ripped from the radio stream (including artist names and track name). It supports Shoutcast, PodCasts and a couple of other streams too ... :)

The only downside is that you can only rip two streams at one time with the free version (you can apparently do 600 with the registered version). And also the ripping is done in real time, so its pretty much like taping from a radio... you have to wait for the song to complete playing.

Overall i think its fantastic software ...

For mp3 support you need to download an additional "lame mp3 encoder" package (which is also free). It can be found here...

I would suggest visiting their homepage and downloading some of the add-on utilities to the software... yip its all free!!
